I signed up for INSYS 497 with the idea that I fit into the “intermediate” category relating to my understanding of technology and my use of technology. To be completely honest, I am beginning to think that I should have classified myself as a beginner. The class has just begun and already I have learned so many new things. I am most excited to see how this class shapes my practice. I have always been interested in technology and this class is giving me the opportunity to really “dig-in” and learn how to use some great tools. At the conclusion of this class, I hope that, with the Web 2.0 tools, I will be able to transform my classroom into a place where students can bring some of their technology skills from outside of school into the academic setting.
